Michael Shikashio Seminar

I strive to build as broad a toolbox as possible to best support all my clients on their journeys. This means making a conscious effort to learn from across the entire training spectrum for a range of different ideas and perspectives - all rooted in the same basic principles of effective dog training.

With this in mind, over the long weekend I drove down to Wellington to attend a seminar with Michael Shikashio of Aggressive Dog, hosted by Animal Training Academy and Your Whole Dog. It was an awesome opportunity to recap the foundations of aggression, see how these concepts were applied for specific cases and learn from a master communicator in person.

Really cool to see such highly respected trainers being brought over to NZ to keep lifting the standard of dog training available, and for so many passionate trainers and handlers to be able to spend a long weekend upskilling together.
